VARIEON OWENS a.k.a CHOSEN
He has appeared on many stages, such as, The Blockbuster Pre-Stellar Showcase and The Rhythm of Gospel Awards Show Midnight Musical. He has interviewed with radio announcers, such as, John Smiley of WJSR the Voice 24.7 Broadcasting, Apostle Veynell Warren (Crazy Faith Entertainment) of Icebreakers Gospel Radio and Jacki of KDAY Live.
He was the Artist of the Month on the Dorinda Clark Cole Radio Show website for the month of September 2014. He is currently a nominee in 4 categories for the 7th Annual Rhythm of Gospel Awards Show for 2015.
With the support of Christ, his wife, children, Pastor, Spiritual Fathers, leaders and fans, Varieon’s desire is to pursue his passion of being an international psalmist, minister and being a part of the Unreached Group Project focusing on the 10/40 window, bordering Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
As a young psalmist and Pastor, Varieon continues to encourage people to, “Stand Firm on The Promises of God.”

One of the most extraordinary things about Contemporary Christian Music is that it allows each praise and worship experience to explore outside of the box. A true example of that experience can be explored through the music ministry of Louisiana born and bred, Varieon Owens aka Chosen. Through Varieon’s prophetic dais, many have experienced God’s deliverance and healing.
His first single was released in January 2014 entitled, “I’ll Praise You” co-written by national recording artist, Stellar Awards Nominee, Rhythm of Gospel Awards winner, Gilbert Wilson. His single has allowed him the opportunity to work with GilWil Music, TRAE Way Music and CRAZY Faith Entertainment. Also, it has landed him on the International T.V. Show KDAY Live T.V. , The Ernie Miles Show and It Had To Be God on UA Network.
