Sounds of Imani is soaring to new heights providing the best in contemporary gospel music that tears down the strongholds which keep people bound. Sounds of Imani is a Prayze Factor Award-winning artist in the categories of Praise & Worship Duo/Group and Contemporary Urban Gospel Duo/Group; as has earned fifth place in the grand finals as Spotlight Grand Finalist. The Prayze Factor Red Carpet awards ceremony took place on Saturday April 5, 2014 at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown USC - Columbia, South Carolina. In addition, the artist received the Excellence in Christian Music Academy (ECMA) Certificate of Recognition of 2013.

 

Over the years, Sounds of Imani has ministered at the Anointed Faces Gospel Coffee House, NCCJ National Walk For Justice, American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life", 4th Fridays, Michigan State Fair, African American Music Festival, Farmer Jack Motor City PraiseFest, The Parade Company, ABLA Reunion in Chicago,IL, Children's Fundraiser with Miss CJ in Milwaukee, WI,; Blackmon Enterprises Live in Los Angeles, CA ; Prayze Factor Awards, Columbia, SC; various shelters, correctional facilities and many other venues throughout Metro Detroit and abroad. SOUNDS OF IMANI has also appeared on local WDIV TV4 in Detroit, as well as WHPR TV 33 (Highland Park). Sounds of Imani was also interviewed on WKHM Christian Flight Radio in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

 

This artist is versatile in various facets of contemporary gospel music including gospel-jazz, urban gospel and traditional gospel, praise and worship, and prophetic praise.
