As a woman who publicly declared her HIV status at a time when the subject was taboo and, Musa continues to pioneer for HIV/AIDS, women’s health and human rights. She has addressed thousands of young people in schools and tertiary institutions, as well as millions of people in and outside the country promoting HIV & AIDS awareness, educating and advocating for the rights of people infected and affected by HIV & AIDS.

Musa has been involved in the development of numerous training packages, AIDS Policies, Educational Programs, for the corporate sector; Government; NGO’s, CBO’s, Church Organization, Youth Organizations and many others. Musa Njoko in a month’s period she addresses at least over ten (10) thousand people through churches, community based organizations, private sector events, radio, TV and print media. 

 

MESSAGE OF HOPE & VICTORY!

This year, 2010 Musa celebrates 16 years of an exceptional life despite HIV, despite living in a country where drugs and vital information were not always available and despite social intolerance and even aggression towards her plight. She has experienced both sides of living with HIV. From feeling completely healthy and living drug-free to having full-blown AIDS and facing death on two occasions, each time she bounced back and is, once again, living a full and rich life. Her life is a vibrant message of hope to all living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS or even for anyone faced with any life’s challenges.
