FILM
Parker's writing career started in 2006 at the age of 56 when he awoke at 2:00 with the sensation he had heard a voice say "Write a book about evolution." In the morning after asking God if he had asked Parker to write a book about evolution the night before, the words, "and when you're done with that, I want you to go after Harry Potter and the sexual revolution" clearly went through Parker's mind. Many of Parker's books and movies address those three areas of culture clash.
