A lot of discussions have been going on about how immigrants are merely taking from the system and not giving back. Are Africans living in the UK only using up the system or are they adding value to the system? This is one of the questions I will be posing to viewers in a documentary film which I am working on at the moment.

My final BA project in 2012 is a documentary film titled African Immigration to the UK. I found out that more people are engaging with the film after one year of posting it and that is why I am making a sequel film to that title; exploring African Immigration and Inter racial marriage in the UK. People marry for different reasons, companionship, spiritual reasons, true love or even to obtain legal papers-commonly referred to in immigration discussions as “sham marriage”. Are the Africans marrying white people mainly looking for legal settlement in the UK? Or do we have those that marry for love? These and many more are my questions in this film and I hope to talk more on other issues relating to Immigration of Africans in the UK in the future.

As a mum of three beautiful children, I have experienced different stages of child growth. Right from pregnancy time to toddler stages, pre-teens, teens and now that they are growing into young adults. I believe I am qualified to write and make films about parenting and motherhood. I am grateful to God who has helped me to raise godly children. I am therefore looking forward to sharing my experiences as well as telling stories that will lift and encourage others in my books and films. Everyone has a story to tell but the creative sides of individuals determine how they go about it. 

I am a wife of a great man Kola, the man I love and have been married to for more than twenty years of my life. Marriage as a union between a man and a woman always has its ups and downs and how we engage with these turbulences determines how successful our marriage would be and how happy we will be in the marriage. My husband and I have our differences which sometimes bring conflicts and arguments and may occasionally culminate into drama. Over the years God has helped us to know each other better and to cherish our union. Some of the dramas in my marriage and those I see in my environment have a great influence on my writing and can sometimes reflect in my filmmaking and storytelling. What you are experiencing today could be a solution to somebody’s problems tomorrow, so do not run away from challenges, rather, face them and trust God for wisdom to overcome and you can be a blessing to someone someday.

As an Author, I wrote a book titled WITHOUT A WORD. This book came from my experiences as a woman who found salvation in Jesus Christ before my husband. That simply means that the differences in our spiritual and religious values constantly lead to conflicts. The message of my book is mainly to provide help and support to women and men whose partners are non believers in Christ. I suggested how they can hold on to God and trust Him to save their marriage and ultimately save their spouses, using my personal experience. I love to read and write and I believe that someday soon I will write more books on different areas of my life.
